Welcome to BabyCare Scanning, a Professional, Caring and Unique ultrasound scanning service, providing 2D and 4D pregnancy scans, meeting your needs which are not met by your routine NHS scans. BabyCare Scanning is the inspiration of a State Registered Clinical Specialist in Ultrasound, who recognised that there is much more that can be shared with a scanning experience than which the routine NHS scans can provide. BabyCare Scanning was therefore birthed through this recognition, and is designed to engage you further with your baby, and enhance your pregnancy at this very special time. Latest Information

Please note, we perform our Gender Scans from 15 weeks gestation.  As Baby is fully developed at 12 weeks from the first date of menstrual period (or 10 weeks from conception), this is no problem at all.  The only proviso we make, is that if a lady’s Body Mass Index (BMI) is 32 or greater, then we would delay gender assessment until 16 weeks.

In accordance with the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists (RCOG) Guidelines, we do not perform Early Scans prior to 10 weeks gestation.

This is in keeping with our conscientious attitude in our belief of delivering the best for our parents and their unborn children, when they are at their most vulnerable.
